Been missing from this space for a month or so! So busy with school and life, gotten lazy to update.. But now I'm currently left with one last paper tmr! Finally.. it's statistic which I hated most but I've began to love the logic and calculation to it. Before the exams even ended, I've had that holiday mood already. Can't wait to shop eat and play!

Went for my wisdom tooth surgery last week in the mid of exams all cause I didn't want it to dampen my holiday mood! I can never resist the temptation of food, cakes and drinks during the holiday season! MUST EAT! The whole process was rather painful. Even with 3 anesthetic jabs, I could still feel the drilling, plucking and the freaking pressure. It lasted for an hour plus and thank god I survived it.

Back dated.. Filter in October! Omg I know, it has been 2 months ago.. But still, gotta update the photos! It's party time tmr! :D

Weddings In October

Finally the busy month of Oct has come to an end. No more weddings for the next few months as of now. Have been attending weddings too frequently. It makes me think of mine too. Tsk! Could still remember vividly how B helped me to remove my tedious hairdo for the night with thousands of hairpins and conditioned it. Felt like a princess with such service!

Well, back to topic! So, I attended B's uncle's and cousin's weddings.

In the morning when I was having Acct test and rushed back to Tampines for the tea ceremony and I literally drove all over Tam. Ya'know, I suck at directions. In a result, I wasn't in time to witness any tea ceremony! :(

Felt rather retarded to be talking to a phone in public. Lol. Anyway, it's camera function is way better and advanced, now I love taking photos with my phone! Gotta thank daddytan for the phone! Ever since I got married and moved out to stay with B and family, I really miss those times with my mummy.

How she cooks and nags at me to finish up my huge bowl of food to the very last bit, reminding me not to waste what's left. Every morning without fail, there will be breakfast for me, yet sometimes I complaint about the same boring food and when she's away, I'll secretly throw it away. How nasty was I.

I supposed there's always an age when teens get rebellious and find parents annoying all the time. Now that I've grown so much, from a teen to an adult. Now, a wife of a wonderful hub and a mum of a cheerful boy, I'm certain that what I've learnt along this growing process really taught me a lot. Not only have I became stronger in terms of handling a long distance marriage. I've also understood how power can a love of the mother be.

Cousin's Birthday

Been sucha hectic month. With assignments dued, mid-term test, presentation and weddings to attend, I was totally exhausted. Was at the edge of insanity.. Under going depression, seriously. I couldn't cope with school and home with davier. I cried almost every night. And at that point, I wanted to quit school. I know this may be a silly and harsh thought. But I was so mentally and physically drained, I needed a breather. No idea how I am going to handle the rest of my Uni life since this is only the beginning! Sigh.. :(

That aside, went for a cousin's birthday party with us dressed in the same top!

I'm Cursed / Grandma's Birthday Celebration

Just when I wanted to escape from books and de-stress myself, I met an accident. It completely ruined my entire day. I was happily anticipating for Real Steel movie with sis and yet such unpleasant and unexpected shit happened. There wasn't any injuries involved but I am still so mad with myself.

It all happened when the car infront e brake out of a sudden in the freaking highway at lane 1! I had to response to it and e brake immediately. I was so damn close to banging the car infront but luckily I didn't and I kinda expected this coming... the car behide hit me. I suppose he was driving too fast and wasn't able to brake in time. I was in a shock and my mind went entirely blank.. I couldn't believed something like that happened to me.. ME AGAIN? This was the worst experience I ever had! Seriously. Few days back I actually fell while walking outside of my house and just ytd I met with an accident. Are these indications of dooms day for me? What's more coming my way? I am freaking jinxed!

I'm just one unlucky bitch.. Damn fuck me.

Coupla weeks back, celebrated my grandma's birthday on a sun at my aunty's place then to the restaurant.

Bumble Bee Goes Swimming!

It's been raining almost everyday since the month of sept. Finally picked a day when the sun was out and brought that cheeky darling for a swim (or perhaps, a mingle in the pool. haha) at Laguna Country Club.

He was rather frighten and scare when we first placed him in the pool. Gradually, he got used to flapping his legs, playing with the water and soaking good times in the pool that he refused to be out. He cried so awfully when we carried him out. The cry was probably equivalent to his injection's cries.

School has been really busy. Took my statistics test this morning and I nearly went bonkers! I hate equations and formulas! My mind automatically shuts them out! Tsk..

Today, Imma swore to update regularly, if possible! :)

Girls Night Out w Nemo Babes

As I am taking a break from school work, here's an update on my girls night out with the nemo girlfriends. Have been months since we last met for dinner and drinks. Miss the girls so much. Everyone is so committed to their current life; work/school. I secretly have the urge to work. Having not enough rest almost EVERY night and trying to concentrate in class is tough, very tough.

Couple of weeks back, we girls met in town and went for dinner @ Orchard Central.

One of the best finds! Please make reservation before dinning to get better allocated seats. As we were busy and not able to make a reservation, we were settled at the bar seats. Pretty good view of the mtv screen!

Such HOT korean singers in the mtv screen. Pretty face, pretty jaw line, pretty eyes and sexy figure. Why are korean girls so perfect? I wanna be a korean!

Glad that all of us were able to make it for the dinner despite having work and school. We wanted to chill with some drinks after dinner around town and decided on Loof. It was a really nice and relaxing open roof top bar. We girls were enjoying and I so had to leave early that night for I have classes the next morning, on a sat morning! Boooo. And I so got to thank my savior of the night; mel! for showing me the directions home. I am really bad at driving around unfamiliar places and finding the correct highway home. I have problems reading map!

Had craving for steamboat and hence, lunch after school @ hotpot!

Went for a haircut @ fareast.

Summing up the past few weeks of school and leisure. Finally went to watch Johnny English and it was hilarious! I literally laughed non-stop, it was sucha good show. Totally worth every penny! Had a sudden urge of cutting my dead ends and prooof, snipped off! And many of you might have already been to H&M.... It was a fine weekday that I decided to step in when there wasn't any queue. Gosh, the baby section was effing cute! Shopped so much for Davier there. Definitely be back again!

The whole month of Oct is yet another busy month! Many weddings to attend to, quiz and test to study! I feel like I'm running out of time.... :(

Uni life is....... mundane and arduous.

Dad's Birthday Celebration

So it's SEPTEMBER! The month of endless birthday celebrations. Sucha pity that I can't celebrate B's birthday with him, again! :( I seriously hate far distance relationship/marriage. Sigh. But anyway, he's received his little birthday present from me and was so delighted to know that he loves it. Though my surprise was quite a failure, nevertheless, the effort was there and the present received in a piece! Heh.

Besides B's birthday, it was who brought him up; his daddy's birthday! Also coming up, sis in law's birthday.. How does your pocket burning smells? Hmmm..

The night before dad's actual birthday, we decided to give him a little surprise with my masterpiece cake from icing room and our presents.

Can you see those chinese words in pink? It's "Lao Pa, Shen Re Kuai Le". I'm so bad at chinese that I had to use iphone chinese dictionary to find those words. I don't even remember how to write Dad is chinese. TOTAL FAIL!

Brisbane (Part 4 - Consolidated)

I've been busy with school since it started 2 weeks ago. I barely have time to relax and surf net now. All I want to do when I'm free is to, sleeeep! Been feeling legarthic for the whole week. Insufficient rest is causing all the impatience, hence, neglecting this space. Trying to clear all my brisbane entries. I really miss that place and the people! :( Can't stand the weather here. And thanks to the weather, I'm having soo much outbreaks. It's horrifying! Never had huge zits for years and now it suddenly pop 2 friggin huge ones. DAMN!

I kinda lost track of which days were all these photos taken. So... just enjoy viewing the photos. :)

B brought me to this really nice dessert place serving mainly chocolate desserts. Awesome place to chill out in South Bank.

Brisbane (Part 3 - Dreamworld) / Mooncake

Overexpoloding amount of LARGE fries.

It was sucha fun and exciting day at Dreamworld. Was pity that some rides were closed for maintenance and the crowd wasn't big. We get to play rides over and over again without having to queue for long. I can never get myself to play the giant drop, ever. It's like committing suicide. Rides that go either vertically or horizontally up/down, freaks me out! It's just that 1sec that takes my heart away. Roller coasters are far acceptable for me because they go in circles!

It's the mooncake season! I love feasting in mooncakes because they are just too deliciousss! Especially the snow skin mooncakes with the many creative flavors! Oh, I'm thinking of durian mooncake while I type.... *drool

Went out to town with Angelina and my boy to get a gift and eye-feasting for mooncakes. There are like hundreds of many different mooncake brands and flavors. I go mad while choosing...

He just can't stop walking while grabbing every single thing he sees!

When I came back to sg, he immediately gave me a big warm hug! Awww... so sweet right! He kept sticking to me, I guess he really miss me so much! Heh. :)

Got the durian red bean and mango pomelo. It's a good combination.

School have started for a week and I kinda love the new timetable assigned. Finally feel the life of a uni student. So many assignments and assessments.. I have been eating more than the usual but I still find myself losing the kilos. It's rather surprising and shocking. I am of cause very delighted! But that doesn't mean I could keep eating without watching the calories. I don't want to be skinny. I just want to be slim and healthy.

Drove back to our hotel and rest before we went for dinner. As it was located near Hardrock cafe, we decided to walk instead of driving and we realised we made a huge mistake. We walked to the wrong direction and not only that, we walked back and forth for twice. Instead of taking 10mins to reach hardrock, we took 1hr! We gave up halfway through and took a cab. What a silly experience. Not forgetting the chilly weather.

Brisbane (Part 1)

I'm back from Brisbane and it was certainly a well spent 2 weeks. Could have been longer (darn, I was sick for a week). My previous visit to Brisbane was about a year ago or more. That was when I'm pregnant with Davier. All my hard felt memories!

This time round, it's bigger and better! I truly enjoyed myself every single day, even when I am just lazing around at home while waiting for B to end school. Y'know it's just so nice to be home waiting for your loved ones to be back. It's so heart warming..

And the weather was fabulous! Initially I hated the weather when I first touched down. It was freezingly cold in the night and morning. All I wanted to do was to cuddle under the blanket and stay put. Hah.

Well, enough of all my words, time for some pictures!

Took the morning flight (7+hrs) and was just on time for dinner in Brisbane with B and friends. It was korean bbq! No pictures though. Hah. But it was goooood.

Got home, showered and prepared for our little party. Like I've mentioned, it was freezing outside but that's what I'm wearing. A toga dress with stockings. Hah. I gotta say, the girls weren't afraid of cold. They could wear dress, just dress walking up and down the streets not feeling cold. 0_0 I so got to look normal by wearing a dress too. Haha. But no I can't do without the stockings!

1 Day Batam Trip - Cable Ski

Woke up really early in the morning to get ready for our 1 Day Batam trip despite sleeping late the day before. I could barely wake up! Darn, hate waking up early in the morning.. Hah.

It was only my second try and I got hit by the handle real hard! Right onto my face and my lips bleed. What an experience. But no, it did not bring me down. I was so determined to reach to the end! Haha.

Dinner wasn't fantastic. But we were famished and were afraid of missing the last boat back, we finished up all the food like instantly! The restaurant was quite sucky, did not see any souls there except for us. Food was below average! :(

Well, call it a day and we were dead beat. All of us falling asleep in the boat back. I was so exhausted and had body aches the next day for about a week! It was so horrible that I couldn't even wear my shorts! The aches were that bad! But in exchange for the fun and experience, I guess it was worthwhile. Besides being injured, the rest was okay. I've been doing the knee board since the start and have failed ample times while attempting to do the standing one. Grrr. I hope someday.. I will be able to do the standing wakeboarding!

Attended Faith's 1st birthday coupla weeks ago. The theme was so girly and sweet. Loved the chicken wings they prepared, it was one of the best wings in town!

I am so delighted to know that my boy is able to walk steadily now! Omg he is literally walking all over the house. And he loves to shake his butt while he dance. Hahaha! Miss that naughty boy already!

So I was terribly sick for one whole damn week. Fever came off and on while rashes reacted. It was a bad bad week that I had to postpone my flight but anyway, I'm here in Brisbane already. Weather is so chilling and I'd always love being here!

Fever Bug

Was down with fever for the past 2 days. It was one of the worst experience I had. Fever came so sudden, and I was literally shivering non stop. Even without the air con and fan switched on, I had to wear a jacket and hide under my blanket. Haven't been this sick before.

Woke up this morning to realised that my temperature increased from 38.8 to 39.5 but I couldn't feel anything at all. However, glad that it have subsided this afternoon.

On a lighter note, I can't wait for Sunday! Gonna fly alone again.

Davier's Mickey Birthday Party!

So, after much consideration, I came up with the Mickey Mouse theme for Davier's 1st birthday party! Was hesitating between Winnie The Pooh and Mickey Mouse. Then I realised he loves hugging mickey because we have a huge mickey and minnie at home! Having said that, Mickey theme it shall be! Went to the party shop to look for everything mickey! From table cloth to balloons and banner.

Woke up really early on that day to get all the baking started! Made cupcake pops the previous time during Davier's baby shower and guess what's up for surprise this time round?

Cupcake pops are more tedious to make as there are many procedures and steps to follow. But the fun is having to decorate it with different chocolate and toppings.

The first batch did not turn out good. If you see clearly, the cake was out of shape. Due to the function I used.

These are the good ones! I wanted to finished baking early so I used cake mix instead of making from scratch.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING DAVIER TAN!

Yes, it is my baby boy's birthday today! He has finally turned one! I miss how fragile and small he was a year ago. Now that he's grown so much, I find myself loving him more every single day. He is starting to walk now, though it's quite unstable but I see the effort. I am so happy for him. Loves him soooo much! :)

One of the weekends when we brought Davier out for some shopping in Orchard! He's been sucha good boy. Besides whining to be carried, he is considerably a good boy for the day. Haha. Oh and how much I love bringing him out. The curious look on his face just brings a smile on my face. Sometimes it makes me wonder what are babies actually thinking and what weird dreams do they have..

Tried this Tampopo at taka and the food is quite sucky. Long queue plus lousy food = unhappy me!

I seriously wanna go for a good pampering. Had a full body massage but my body still aches so bad! Dying to go for a medi and pedi session, been like 2 months since I last went! My ugly nails are laughing at me.

Movie Date & Dolly

I am finally back! Have been extremely busy for the past few weeks with my exams and davier's birthday party which explain the lack of updates here. Anyway, it is my holidays now! Have already started enjoying it. Went to Batam ytd for cable ski and my whole body aches like mad! Esp my arms! Could barely wear my shorts.

Back dated, B brought me out for a movie date! Transformer! He actually booked the tix in aussie before flying back. Hehe happy me! Wanted to go for GC but it's all fully booked! Settled with Transformer 3D. Was an awesome show but sadly, I still prefer Megan Fox! :(

Was so wasted that night. Bad bad.

Davier's party was sucha success! Catering was just right, birthday cake looking gorgeous, party ballons and banner came in time, and most importantly, friends and relatives that came and made it a success! What a relief, I am finally 80% done with Davier's birthday preparation. It is only a week away! So excited that I have not started studying for my exams which apparently start this coming Mon - Fri. I really need to start studying! This 1 week study break has not been fully utilised. I was practically lazing around at home, playing with Davier, baking cakes and whipping up dinners. So that bascially shows how unproductive I am! Tsk.

Well, at least I am getting my ass out later to study! I have this bad habit of not being able to study at home. I would love to be in a quiet environment which is nowhere other than the library.

Hehehe, my baby boy is sucha darling. Here are a couple of things he knows:

When you fake cry or cover your face, he'll pull your hands away and sayang you. Hehehe. But when it comes to his temper, it's really bad! He MUST get what he wants. Else, he'll cry like mad! Yay, I am left with the last 2 weeks in school before exams starts. Wished I could just leave everything behide and go on a loooooong holiday! I so damn deserve it! Sadly, that's not gonna happen. Sigh. There are so many places I want to go! Tw, Hk, Bkk, Italy, Sydney, Japan.... and so many more! I guess I need to go on daydreaming right now.. For dreams are always sweet and things don't usually end up the way you want it to be.

In 20 years, you will be more disappointed by things you didn't do than by things you did. Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets.

Davier is turning 11months old in 2 days time! Which means, his big 1st party would be in exactly a month's time. Something that has been bothering me lately is, davier refusing to have his meal. It's like going through a war when trying to feed him. At times, I feel like giving up. It's either he'll pushes the plate away, closes his mouth tightly or he'll just split it out. I was at the verge of exploding. I'm not sure if every kid used to go through this phrase but it's absolutely pissing me off. He whines and whines non-stop, not wanting to eat. True enough, the nightmare has just began...

Nevertheless, I hope he could behave and eat well. Patient towards a kid is the key factor. After being a mother, that I realised, all mothers are the noblest.

Can't wait for June to end!!

Alright, I am finally done with my report! It actually took me two days to complete. Was quite a last min work. One load down, another came piling. But on a happy note, all this torment will end in about 3 weeks' time. Can't wait to get over with the exams and play!

It's the weekend! There are so many awesome movies screening and I have not watched any of it. Been dying to watch X-Men, Hangover II, Priest and many many more! Whenever B is not around, I don't get to watch movies. How sad is that! It's not like I don't have friends to watch it with me, it's just that I don't have the time and I would prefer watching movies with B! Even if I had the time, I would be home playing with Davier instead. It's a routine: go to school in the morning, come home in the evening, play with davier, eat and sleep!

Haircut

B came back for 3 short days last week to attend bro's wedding. It was a night flight and touched down at sg in the morning; 5:30am! And how lucky could I get that the silly alarm did not ring. Received B's message saying that he has landed and I quickly hurried out of the house to the car despite having a wet hair(just came out from showers. no time to blow dry! not even combing!) okay you could picture how messy I looked. Haha!

The morning was so exciting! Having to see the bride being brought home and all. It somehow reminds me of my wedding too! I really miss how tired, nervous and happy I was during my wedding day. It was certainly a memory worth keeping. Truly captivating and it'll never lose it's place in my heart. A memory that lasts a lifetime. :)

In the midst all the excitement, when the bride and groom have left, B went to have a haircut at his old time salon located at EastWood(our old house). He is one that's very particular with his hair and he never likes entrusting his hair to others. So he'll usually come back sg to cut or never cut and look like a caveman in Aussie. Haha!

Too Fast..

Everything is happening too fast..

B's grandpa has just passed away. Carrying a heavy heart when I went to visit him a day before he deceased. He could hardly open his eyes and I see him in pain. I know that time is not at his side but I wished he could wait for B to be back in sg to see him for the last time. However, he didn't managed to. Wherever you are, I know you will be well taken care of. You did your best and you will be in great hands of God. Rest in peace, Ah gong. You will be missed dearly.

On a lighter note, the girls met up on Friday the 13th for a little gathering and partying @ Filter Club. It was sucha atas place with mostly all working adults. Great music and people. Comparing such clubs to Zouk, Zouk is a scale of 0. Because it's packed with too many youngster and those damn hooligans.

Davier is exactly 10 months old today! A brief update on his progress: He has up to 8 teeth currently. Eats, bites, drinks and swallows very well. He's pretty good at drinking from a straw. Extremely playful. Knows how to "sayang" people(lying onto your shoulders). Basically, he has been very healthy and active. Beginning to learn how to stand on his own and talking steps.

I love my darling d so much! Everyday I'll rush home from school just to see him and play with him. But it's really tiring after playing with him for a while.. Haha!

One of the worst lectures was having a boring lecturer. Was so bored in class that I started snapping away. Wth I must have be sooo damn fucking bored! Lol. Pardon me! Oh dear.. can't stand my eye bags and dark circles. Sigh!

Busy busy week ahead! Upcoming testes, Bro's wedding, Project work. Truly busy to the tip. Haven't even got started planning for Davier's birthday party. I am feeling so stressed up, it's like I'm running against time. :( Need to decide on a theme but boys doesn't have much varieties!

On a side note, my beloved b is coming back tmr morning! He's probably watching some movies in the plane now. Sooo excited to see him! Gonna fetch him from the airport and plant thousands of kisses and embrace him with a big bear hug! Yay! :)

Regarding the eBay seller for my gown, she's emailed me that it's been shipped. Hopefully it'll reach me by next week. Alternatively, I'd bought another gown that cost me $219 with alteration. So now I've got 2 gowns to choose from! So excited to try on the gown and hope it'll fits me perfectly.

Promised a proper entry but gawt, I just don't have the time to do so. Anyway, I finally did something to my hair! Changed the colour and permed it(after much hesitation)! The faded old yellowish colour was such an eye sore.

School was absolutely fun when you have the right company of friends. It makes school life more interesting despite boring lectures. I'm truly thankful for having them!

I recently purchased a gown at eBay and the seller went mia out of a sudden. I'm so upset about it. I don't know if he/she deliberately "cheated" or was unable/forgot to pay the eBay subscription fees. I felt cheated! All I could do now is to wait patiently with hope that it might be in the mist of processing while I look for another gown. I hate irresponsible sellers!

This post is gonna be a wordy one.

School has started for the pass 2 weeks and I must admit, I miss being home with Davier. I really miss having to wake up naturally, having afternoon naps, bringing Davier out and etc..

Lately, migraines have been rocking on me very frequently. It's annoying and it piss the shit outa me. I dislike how much discomfort it gives me. I got no idea why it's been like that for the pass few weeks. Ever since school started, it never stops. I haven't had a migraine for like 1-2years? And now it suddenly returned. Stress from school load? Insufficient rest? Sigh.

Anyway, B flew back to brisbane this evening. . . . . . .

Why do happiness comes in sucha short while?

Sometimes I just can't help it.. but to ponder. Why am I being put through this test? I really hate whatever that I'm going through right now. However, I'm really proud of myself for going so far. For being so strong. No one could truly comprehend how much mental struggle I had.

That kinda sums up my weekend. Followed by a terrible migraine that made me stayed home. It has been like what? A year or so ago that it last hit me. Gwat, it just sucks so much. Feels like the end of world. Headache and brain bursting is no kidding!

Each time I look at Davier's photos, I would giggle silently. He's sucha cutie in the pie! Haven't I mentioned that he's been standing a lot recently? Yes, he is! He could stand on his own in his playpen and grab random stuff at the side. Oh, and he's beginning to be afraid of strangers now. Doesn't quite like others to carry him. Would show a real sour face! Haha, I find that cute though! :p

Anyway, this is my last week being home. Gonna start school next week, which is quite fast! And soon, it'll be my darling's 1st mega birthday bash! So many things to get done.

Just a short update here. Finally got myself a new laptop to play with. Goodbye to my really hardworking 3 years old Nec. School is starting real soon and I felt really upset to leave Davier. So gonna miss him very much in school. :( Will devote all my weekends for him!

Oh, and he's been learning to stand recently. He is one strong boy, undoubtedly. Video is up on fb, should you wish to see. Besides that, he is learning to talk too. Been speaking so much of baby languages. It's so adorable! It goes like "A-ta.. A-ta.. A-ta.."

There were so much ups and downs through this bumpy ride. Have never felt this exhausted. I just feel like sitting down in a corner and rest my tired arms, mind and body. Davier has been so mischievous lately, and it's really getting on my nerves. I am a person with little patience. I hate to wait for ppl and I just cannot stand kids shouting and crying for goddamn no reason! It's just so tiring.. When worse comes to worst, he just so needs to push me with the hulk strength and kept whinning when I tried to pat him. Not just whine, he purposely cried with that whole load of tears flowing. Jesus, how can I not be angry? Oh, and if you take something that he is not supposed to be holding away from him, he starts crying like mad. OMFG. He just wants to be pampered all the time and this is NO GOOD! God, please grant me more strength and patience to teach and educate him.

I am just somuthafuckinggoddamn tired!

So, baby was back for merely 3 short days over the weekend and now he's probably sleeping or watching movies in the plane. These 3 days was well spent. I hate it when I have to send him to the airport and bid goodbye with that warmest hug and a tender kiss. Tears unknowingly flows down. It just... too hard to stop the tears. I know that he'll be back soon but still, upset to be apart. The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected. Missing him much.

Recently, Davier was sick. Caught with a bad cough and running nose. It was one of those nights I dread having. The looks of him having a hard time falling asleep just pains me terribly. I could literally do NOTHING, but only to feed him medicine on time. Seeing him being disturbed and awoke by the cough really upsets me. Wished I could have done something to ease his uneasiness. Was so emotional, couldn't control my feelings and broke into tears. He just kept crying and crying for almost everything. Nothing seems to please him even when I'm carrying him. Well, this experience taught me to be strong and nothing is impossible. I am glad I had my beloved hubby's support and motivation although he's not right beside me. Those words and mental support help a lot. And I always tells myself that I MUST BE STRONG!

Anyway, he's feeling so much better now. It makes me felt like I have just "leveled up". Lol! :)

To all mummies out there: You are the noblest creature ever! Don't feel alone because there are many like you. Be proud of all your sacrifices, efforts and time spent. You are the best! :)

CNY II

Chinese New Year this year was pretty different. As we've got Davier with us, the more we gotta dug ourselves up early.

Well, it was a sucky Cny eve to start off with. Davier had a bad fall from our bed. I admit it was my mistake. Was so upset about it! I placed him on the bed surrounded with pillows, went to get his floor mat and everything over. Forgotten to put him on the floor mat and went to prepare the water for bathing. That was when I heard that *BOOM* sound followed by his loud crying. Rushed out to see him lying on the ground. He was crying real loudly, even louder and longer than taking jabs.

Was worried that the fall might cause any internal injuries, so rushed him to Thomson as it was Cny eve, almost all the clinics I called was closed! Fortunately, Davier was fine. He was still as active as ever! Couldn't stand him jumping over and over again.

Anyway, aftermath had our reunion lunch at Ah ma's place. Great lesson learnt: Please do not leave your child unattended. NEVER place him/her on the bed alone!

Been busy for the first whole week of Cny! Finally I have time to sit infront of my lappy and update this space. Gonna be a short update as today marks the 1st Wedding Anniversary to me and hubby.

365 days ago, I could remember vividly, the night our hearts beating hard, trying to remember our vows. The feeling was so overwhelming. I could never forget how nervous I was before entering the ballroom. It was truly once a lifetime experience. Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary! No matter how tough times might get, I know that we'll be able to pull through. Loving you always and our little babyboy!

CNY day 1. Woke up hell early to shower for Davier. Got him prepared and started our first day of visiting. We were lucky that we still get red packets! Hehe. Also, it's our first year giving red packets!

Mum's birthday

Was bored at home while waiting for the shoot, so I played around with the self-timer and camwhore. Hehe.

It was mum's birthday last Wednesday. We walked out to the japanese restaurant outside for a simple dinner.

Davier can't keep his eyes off the cake. Perhaps, he's amazed by the candles. Haha.

Looked so Ah Sou here! But okay lah at least I looked happy. LOL!

What an expression!

Last Saturday, brought Davier for his 3rd and last dose of Hep-B and Pneumococcal. And an oral 2nd and last dose of RotaVirus. In total, he had 2 injections. 1 on each thigh and an oral. It really pains my heart seeing the needle injected into his thigh and went the medicine was injected in, he cried. Luckily, daddy is around. So he'll be carrying and holding Davier for the injection instead of me.

Davier is exactly 6 months old today! Gosh, time is really passing too quickly! I love each stage that davier is growing to. The best thing is, I get to walk with him through all stages. Look at how he's changed and developed. For the past 6 months, I must admit, it wasn't easy. But I am glad I got through all obstacles; physically and mentally. It's such a joy to look at him asleep and smiling. It just makes me feel satisfied as a mother.

He's drinking 160ml every 4 hourly and 1 porridge meal a day. He loves porridge! So happy to see him finishing a bowl. Soon enough, he'll be able to have rice and tells me "Mummy I want to eat french fries!" Hehehe.

The mummies met up last weekend and I just happened to bump into them in orchard. So happy to see them! Their babies has grown. All looking so cute!

So, it's been quite some time since I last updated this space. Well, life has been pretty much the same every single day. Davier loves porridge now. He could finish up a bowl. But he whines when nobody plays with him. So it's pretty hard to try feeding him all alone. He needs attention! Oh boy..

For the past few days, I've been experiencing sharp pain and discomfort on my foot! I got totally no clue what caused it. But I am very much sure that I didn't sprain my ankle. It's so fucking painful that it disturbs my sleep. Couldn't walk properly, much less run. Fucking hell, it just feels like bone dislocation or veins knotted. NB! I just wanna curse and swear!!! Sigh.. FML!

Back dated, had a bbq session at home again on nye. It's the same old shit every week.

Davier and the Octopus

Davier is exactly 5.5months old today. Another 2 more weeks and he'll be facing needles yet again. Here's a little update on his progress:

Drinks up to 160ml every 3-4 hourly
Shit at least once per day
Grab everything he sees and stuff it into his mouth
Loves chewing his hands
Able to flip by himself and sit still for 5sec
Able to stand still with support and loves jumping
Loves ppl to play and talk to himself
Loves looking at himself in the mirror
Loves playing with dogs, looking at fishes and sitting on the swing
Basically, loves to go gaigai and bathing.
Smiles very often and cries for attention
Tried brown rice and porridge
Able to recognise ppl and places

Xmas is over, 2010 is coming to an end. Time is really passing too quickly. I think I've missed out a lot. When I mean a lot, it's really A LOT. 2010 was an eventful year from preparation for my wedding, to getting married, flying over to Aussie and spent half of my preggy times there, going through labour, witnessing little baby davier on my arms for the first time. And now, my days consist of Davier and only Davier. A fulltime mother that does nothing but cooking and looking after davier. Academic wise, I've achieved nothing. So sad.

I look forward to 2011 to be a better year. I can't wait for Davier to start learning how to walk and let my pair of tired arms rest.

Happy 2011 people! Hope you make the best for the last day in 2010 tonight.

This is crap. I got totally no access to my facebook account. It told me that my password was incorrect and that I changed my password on Sunday afternoon, which I apparently, didn't. Am I being hacked? Any IT pro here?

Anyway, I went through hub's and davier's account to see what's happening. Thanks all who'd posted on my wall. Appreciate all the well wishes. Also, thanks those that made my 21st a memorable one. Special thanks to everyone who helped out with the decorations. It was quite a disappointment when everyone started texting me that they couldn't make it on the day itself. I hate all this last min shit. Yes, I am very upset. But anyhow, I'm glad I have friends who came down even after attending weddings and thanks Lin for making this trip down though we lived in two ends. :)

So it was Butter's 2nd Anni, the crowd was madness. It's seriously annoying when you're waiting for a cab, and there is none to be seen. They're customer's service just suck ttm.

Well, today is the 21st of Dec, and I'm 21 this year. Looking forward for a better year ahead. Though it's not the best, but still, Happy Birthday to myself.

Few more photos of Vin's birthday night. It was an extremely enjoyable and fun night! Been so looooong since I last enjoyed myself this much.

Went to town on a Saturday with my little family. Davier was super cranky when we were having dinner. It was so hard to coax him to sleep that day. He kept screaming and crying, not wanting to suck on his pacifier.

He now knows how to use his hand to pull out his pacifier. However, he doesn't knows how to put it back in his mouth! It was totally adorable seeing him trying to figure out how to stuff it back. When he gets tired of trying he would literally scream and yell("I want my pacifier!") while holding onto the pacifier. Haha!

Then it was Le Bar at night with the rest.

My little milk monster may wake up anytime from now! Thus, a short update.

I'm trying to make it a point to update every day. But the laziness keeps kicking in. Well, I'm neither busy nor away. Haha. However, I've became a Housewife, for sure. Because I am cooking lunch everyday for my beloved Hubby.

He'll come back for his 1hr lunch break, finish his lunch(certainly cooked by me) and drive back to office. Hehehe, feels so satisfied to cook for someone you love. Seeing him salvaging the very last bit. Haha!

Went out to town on a Sunday with our babypie. I love family outing like this. Just the 2 of us and a little davier pie!

On a sunny evening, decided to bring Davier out for a walk in the garden. It was so stuffy and hot in the room. And so bloody bored. Going out for a walk once in a while really does freshen up myself and I feel better breathing the fresh air outside. :)

He can't stop sucking his thumb. That tiny thumb is so cute, I wanna suck it too! Haha.

Headed over to Bedok corner hawker for a cooling coconut drink. So refreshing!

Have been busy planning for my big day! Nothing but my legal 21st birthday party. Gonna host it at home for a buffet spread. But am troubled with the ballons decoration and the theme! Definitely goona have pink as my main colour of the night. Haha. Would love to have a theme e.g: 80's retro, the geeks, hollywood, las vegas(my fav) and etc.

However, I'm having troubles deciding the theme. Hmmm.. anyone have any cool ideas? Drop me an email! :) And anyway have decided on some games to play and not forgetting alcohol for us to drink drank drunk!

Oh yes, I've sent my order for a cake design I like to the baking company! Hope it'll look exactly the same! Ooooo, so looking forward to my birthday bash! It's gonna be held at our new place. More spacious to occupy the overcrowded friends and relatives I have. Hehehehe.

Random day out

Brought Davier out to Tampines with Angelina last Mon. Love bringing him out. He tends to be more obedient than staying home. I guess he's being pushed around, and gets to look around which makes him happy? Haha.

Last Sat, Davier turned 4months old, grew taller to 65cm and heavier to 7.76kg. Wow, time is passing very quickly when looking after a baby. Whereas time seems to pass very slowly when studying.. Is it something to do with our mindset? Hmm..

Davier was a strong boy. He did not cry when the doc injected the needle in. He only started to cry when she injected the medicine in. It lasted for less than 5mins and he was back to self. Started looking around with his teary eyes. Thinking what had happened. Haha.

He did had slight fever, but it didn't last long. Would encourage you to use the cooling adhesive. It's really effective. No need any fever medicine and his fever subsided. I'm using the Kodomo brand.

Was quite a last min decision to BBQ at home. Was having cravings for satays and baby suggested to BBQ at home. So yeah, asked the guys over for a chill out day.

This coming sat, Davier's turning 4 months old. Scheduled to bring him for his 4th month injection. This is what I always dread doing. Hates looking at those needles. Hopefully he'll be stronger this time round. Fever please do not find Davier.

Journey to the west. It took us an hour finding the place. Wow, like a maze. Don't be surprised, I've never been to any part of Jurong before. Perhaps once in Jp when hubby was still serving NS. Like close to 2yrs ago? Haha.

So, a month has passed. Little babyAddison is 1 month old! Happy full month to Stephanie's precious boy! Both the mummy and son was busy on that day hence I got zero photos of Addison. Lol. Anyway, Mummy Steph will soon be able to drink your fav KOI soon!

Went over to my neighbour's place for Natalie's 2nd yr birthday celebration! Gosh, when I first saw her, it was on her baby shower. She was so tiny and fragile back then. And look at her now, she's grown so much, to a totally adorable and intelligent girl. She's very soft spoken and shy, but she's does knows how to pose for the camera! Haha.

We can chill out there, drink and I bet there would be a live band! Better avoid hanging around the heartlands. So many slashing going on! Ewww..

Dec is coming soon! I just can't wait! I am yet again gonna mention that Dec is my fav month! Yes, it's my birthday! And it's my legal 21st this yr! Oh, and the lovely Christmas! I'm smiling thinking of it. My mind is filled with all the fun and excitement. I just wanna let loose myself and enjoy to the fullest. I want some pampering! If it's possible, I would want to book a hotel and stay over for a day! Sooo relaxing and god, I wanna go for a spa!

Went to Marina Sq to have our lunch and to choose our curtains! Bought lots of Davier's stuff including the long wanted carrier. As Davier grows each day, he gets heavier and heavier hence I really think this comes in handy.

Got the one with the back support. It's really critical to take care of your back. As I regretted that I did not. Now my back is still aching so badly! Even after having a 15mins ache relive massage on the massage chair, the aches are still there. :( I'm in need of a good full body massage!

It was the looongest time I last catch a movie. Ever since Davier was born, I haven't got the chance to watch a movie in the cinema, munching on popcorns and watching trailers. Today, I checked on the GV webpage. And there are tons of movies I want to watch!

Some are not even screening anymore! :(

I really really wanna watch all these movies! NO DVDs! I hate watching dvds as I tend to get distracted by toilet trips and my lappy! And I'll fast forward all the boring parts. Hence, I wouldn't really watch the entire show. So it's kind of pointless! Sad me. :(

Halloween is one of the best times I love during the year. Everybody gets to dress up in all kind of weirdest costumes and freak people out! This year, we went to the night safari. And I did not dress up as any character at all. But the guys did made an effort to paint themselves up as Avatars! Hahaha..

Was starving while queuing for the longest shit I ever queued for! Headed for punggol lasi lemak and finally back home after so much horror and screaming. It was a great and thrilled night! My throat was so freaking dry and pain. Apparently I screamed like a mad woman upon seeing each "ghost". It's freaky okay! Haha. :)
